  • +Each class option on our schedule lists a monthly tuition that will be charged automatically using a credit card on file. Class tuition is $75 per month. There is an annual $40 enrollment fee for all students enrolled at Murphy Music Makers. Families continuing from semester to semester receive discounted registration fees.

    +Summer class tuition is different than the school year and is based on term sessions. Please refer to individual class descriptions for pricing.

    +From September through May we run a school year program. The monthly tuition is 1/9th of the total for the school year providing a consistent, budget-friendly amount. It is not tied to the number of classes or lessons offered in a given month.

  • +For outdoor classes, please bring a blanket for you and your child to sit on during class. We recommend bringing a waterproof blanket for dewey mornings.

    +For indoor classes you do not need to bring anything.

    +All other materials are provided by Murphy Music Makers. Kindermusik online materials will be distributed virtually.

  • +Murphy Music Makers will do its best to provide makeup class options that fit your schedule. If you are unable to attend one of your classes due to illness or otherwise, please reach out to let us know.

    *We will provide makeup class options if you miss due to an illness or otherwise. We understand that schedules change, illnesses occur, and life happens. That is why we offer unlimited make-up classes.

    *We do not provide refunds for any missed class, but you can login to the parent portal to sign up for a make-up class time. Please let us know that you will be missing class so we can open that spot up for another family.

  • +When you sign up for our ongoing classes during the school year after the start of any month, your first month will be prorated according to when you sign up.

    +If you would like to register for a term class after the start date, please reach out to us and we will get you set up. These classes will be prorated.

  • +Yes! The first child is $75/month and any additional children are $60/month.

    +The discount will be applied after registration and before your credit card is charged for the month. A $40 per child enrollment fee will be taken at the time of registration.

    +We understand that circumstances change. Please complete this form to change your enrollment.

    +Changes must be made by the 25th of the month in order to avoid a charges for the next month.

    +Use the change in enrollment form to make any changes to your class enrollment. Please do not send an email or other communication to make a change in your enrollment. You will receive an email confirmation when your request has been processed.

  • Login into your account on the Kindermusik Parent Portal using your email address provided at registration. Select billing information and adjust accordingly.

  • +This is an important question and one we want to be able to answer with your specific family in mind. It is best to reach out to us with specific information related to your child and your family so we can find the best fit.

  • +Yes! Murphy Music Makers is excited to offer birthday parties and private group classes!

    +Please reach out to us to find out more information and to schedule your event.

  • +We love when our Murphy Music Makers families want to share their classes with friends and family!

    +If you would like to bring a friend and their child to one of our classes, please have them sign up for a drop-in class so they can see what it’s all about!

    +We also understand that there may sometimes be a need to bring a sibling who is not enrolled during one of your classes due to a school cancellation, etc. Most of the time it is fine, we just ask that you reach out to us before so we can make sure there is enough room in the class. If your extra sibling will be attending all classes in a session, please sign them up, even if they are not in the age group!

    +Bringing a grandparent/other adult family member: We love when we can have special guests in our classes! Again, please just let us know that you plan to bring someone else so we can make sure there is enough room for them.

  • +For our outdoor classes we realize that the weather may not always cooperate with us. In an effort to not have to reschedule classes and to stick to our previously stated schedule, we will be holding classes on Zoom in the event of inclement weather.

    +You will be notified by email the night before by 10pm if your class is going to be online and a Zoom link will be sent.

    *Please note: makeup classes will not be offered in the event of inclement weather.

  • +Each class has a maximum of 12 enrolled families. This may not include families who are attending as drop-ins.

    *Please note: a minimum number of enrolled families must be met in order to hold the classes. This minimum must be met within 24 hours of the class/event. Due to rental fees, class preparation, and quality assurance, we reserve the right to cancel any class that does not meet this minimum. Please be sure to enroll as early as possible so that we can do our best to provide our classes.

  • +We want to do our best to ensure the health and safety of all of our families. Adults who are attending our indoor classes are encouraged to wear masks if that is what they are most comfortable with.

    +Everyone attending our outdoor classes is asked to allow for safe distance between other families, but are not required to wear masks.

    *Please note: this policy may change at any point.

  • +We love having special guests and siblings in classes when possible. Due to limited class sizes and the delicacy of the younger setting, we can only accommodate non-enrolled students when they are young enough to stay in a sling, car seat, or carrier.

    +All non-registered children attending class will not be able to participate. Emergency exceptions are considered. Please reach out before your class time with any questions.

  • +You can pause your enrollment at any point during the school year using the change in enrollment form. This form must be received by the 25th of the month in order to process it and avoid payment on the first of the month.

    +While we understand schedules change and life happens, we recommend giving your child at least 6-8 weeks in classes in order to adapt to the rituals and routines of classes.
